An umbrella stand featuring a beautiful natural combination of rock and wood. Twelve sheets of wood are shaped to make the ring, which is then bonded to the central support. The resulting visual simplicity conceals considerable shaping expertise. Water is no problem for the granite base, which also keeps the stand firmly anchored.
